  • Presentations to Schools, Churches and Community Groups on the many aspects of the AIDS Epidemic.

  • The Training of local communities as Counsellors and Homebased Care workers

  • The provision of pre and post test counseling at the Westrich Site. The provision of HIV testing at this site.

  • Assessment of the Clinical, Immunological and Virological status by our designated medical practitioner.

  • Clients have access to free CD4 count testing through our partners

  • Those qualifying for ARV are referred to the ARV Roll Out Sites. The partnership with the Broadreach Programme has made it possible for us to supply ARV to 68 of our clients. This is expected to increase in the next phase that begins in October 2006.

  • Spiritual and Social assistance from the ministry team. A continuous programme is presented by our pastors and lay ministers. This is available to our clients both at the testing sites and at the various churches.

  • Support Group Meetings are held each month. This serves as an opportunity for members to share their successes and failures. The non threatening environment allows everyone to talk about their fears, hopes and challenges. The support group gives members a sense of belonging and helps deal with rejection and loneliness.

  • Social Grants: Many of the members are assisted with access to the social grants. Letters of motivation are provided by our doctors and our clients are directed to the Dept of Social welfare for grants.
